Announcing Yardbarker's partnership with FoxSports.com and MSN

Yardbarker Bloggers,
As you may have heard, Yardbarker recently inked an advertising and content partnership with FoxSports.com and MSN. We’re very excited to make this announcement, as it demonstrates to a large audience what we’ve known for a long time: that the independent blogs in the Yardbarker Network are the best sports blogs on the web.
So, what does the partnership mean for you?
There are both advertising and content components of this partnership. On the advertising front, the partnership means that you’ll have the FoxSports.com ad sales team working alongside the Yardbarker sales team to fill your advertising inventory and bringing you increasingly more unique sales and sponsorship opportunities. We’ve had a lot of success over the past several months, bringing you unique campaigns with Coors Light, EA Sports, the NFL Network, and Gillette, plus additional campaigns from Virgin America, 2K Sports, CBS Sports and Dish Network. The partnership with Fox Sports will only increase our network’s exposure to more top brands. Fox Sports is excited about working with our network because of the access we give them to a new and younger audience, and because of our ability to deliver custom programs that go well beyond banner ads.
On the content side of things, we expect to see a healthy expansion of the quantity of articles featured on FoxSports.com, and content from our network now also has the opportunity to be featured on the MSN.com homepage – one of the largest single pages on the web. While there are no guarantees about the number of articles that will be featured, the best thing you can do is to keep producing the same unique and engaging content that helped get you to this point, and email pitch@yardbarker.com when you write something that you think deserves special promotion. There will also be opportunities for Yardbarker bloggers to collaborate with Fox and Yardbarker to produce original content that will be featured on FoxSports.com. Alana, Adam, and Ryan will keep you posted about those opportunities as we hash out the details with Fox’s editorial team.
We are thrilled about this partnership and we think you will be too. It really does signal a new era for independent sports blogs – one where even a small blog has a real opportunity to reach a massive audience and work with premium brand advertisers. This has been our goal with the Yardbarker Network from day one, and we really appreciate how you’ve helped us get to this point.
