We're running hot in home run props with two straight winning weeks, and we plan to keep the momentum going this week. Let's keep it rolling with my three favorite HR props for Monday's MLB slate.
Bo Bichette returned to the lineup Friday after missing some time due to a quad strain, and he's got a great chance to get back in the groove on Monday night. In 11 career at-bats against Texas Rangers starter Dane Dunning, Bichette is batting .455 with three home runs and zero strikeouts. The Toronto Blue Jays star hasn't hit a home run since Aug. 20, which has created a juicy price on his HR prop with a friendly matchup on deck. Give me the +700.
Yordan Alvarez is back and better than ever, folks. The Houston Astros DH is batting a league-best .475 over the last 15 days, and he's cracked five home runs in his last 40 at-bats. Alvarez gets to face rookie right-hander Mason Miller on Monday night, and the Oakland Athletics' bullpen has surrendered the third-most home runs in MLB this year. All signs point toward another Alvarez bomb.
This price immediately jumped out to me when I was scouring the board. Cody Bellinger is batting .298 with five homers over the last two weeks. The Chicago Cubs outfielder is batting .348 against Colorado Rockies starter Kyle Freeland in 23 career ABs, and he leads the team with nine home runs and a 1.003 OPS against left-handers this season. Oh, and he's also playing at Coors Field, one of the friendliest hitter's parks in the league. I'm not sure why this price is so high, so let's jump on it.
