The key question as the World Series looms is: Will Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola mention Astros third baseman Alex Bregman's nasty college habits?
The two were teammates on LSU's baseball team from 2013-14, rooming together in an off-campus apartment during their final season. In 2013, LSU played in the College World Series, losing to UCLA.
In college, Nola learned about Bregman's insane work ethic.

He also learned about Bregman's bad habits.
The Tigers' stars roomed with pitcher Henri Faucheux. In a 2018 interview with author Jeffrey Marx for his book, "Walking With Tigers," Faucheux recalled his roomies:
"Both great guys, both great roommates. They were different. With Aaron, I just think of his simplicity, his calmness. He was always so nonchalant about everything. With Bregman, first thing I think of, well, let’s just say there’s no doubt in my mind that his room is still messy."
Faucheux said he taught Bregman how to use a dishwasher. He also noted the Houston third baseman's more gauche behavior, such as blaring loud rap music, turning the thermostat all the way down, and forgetting to turn off the stove.
Nola is scheduled to start Game 1 on Friday in Houston. Bregman is a fixture in the Astros' lineup.
