Cowboys' money stat is bound to break fans' hearts even further
© Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys have had a less than eventful offseason.

This is something we have discussed multiple times, to the feeling of nausea.

Well, be prepared to feel even more nauseous. Spotrac recently listed the top spenders of the NFL offseason.

Teams such as the Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Philadelphia Eagles rounded out the top, while the New York Giants also made the list coming in at seventh.

They also announced the teams who spent the least amount of money this off-season.

To no one's surprise, the Dallas Cowboys made that portion of the list. The exact placement on the list however, is bound to get fans infuriated.

The Cowboys finished in dead last.

And it wasn't particularly close.

The Cowboys have spent $11 million dollars this season. The team who spent the second least was the Los Angeles Chargers who spent $44 million.

For those who need assistance with math, that is a whopping difference of $33 million.

Now for a team that is "all in," that doesn't sound like a very successful strategy.

Fans are being left to rely on a strategy that is all too familiar and one that hasn't paid dividends in this century.
