The UCLA Bruins football program has undergone multiple changes recently, as they look to put themselves back into a place of contention. In is new head coach DeShaun Foster, who is aiming to turn the culture around with the Bruins.
Foster has built up a nice coaching staff around him, including a few former NFL coaches. But the program as a whole is looking to be taken more seriously, especially with them moving to the Big Ten Conference this coming season.
According to reports, UCLA is targeting to hire Notre Dame assistant general manager Butler Benton as its new general manager.

Benton has been the assistant athletic director for player personnel with the Fighting Irish, helping to build a top-10 recruiting class for 2024. He also has built the 2025 recruiting class to be ranked first overall where things currently stand.
He would be a home-run hire for the Bruins, as they look to make real change in the program. These types of moves signal that they mean business, and the Bruins may finally become the sleeping giant they have been for years.
Being located in Southern California, UCLA has always been a premier destination for potential recruits. But now playing in more meaningful games, the Bruins may be able to unlock their full potential, giving them more credibility across the country.
