LA Kings Prospect Update – Week 3/4

Another week has passed and it’s time for our LA Kings weekly prospect update. Goaltender Hampton Slukynsky highlighted this weekly prospect update by allowing one goal in two games played for the Fargo Force of the USHL. Slukynsky won both of his starts and stopped 63 of 64 shots he faced in the two games. In his second game of the week, he recorded his fifth shutout of the season by making 31 saves in the Force’s 5-0 win over the Lincoln Stars. Slukynsky was the first star of the night on Saturday and won the USHL Goaltender of the Week award for the third time this season. It’ll be interesting to see how he does at Northern Michigan University next year, but an excellent season in the USHL has to make the organization pleased with his play.
